Welcome to the Help Center! This is your resource for hands-on support, how-to guides, and troubleshooting tips.
To connect your YouTube channel, navigate to Settings > Integrations and click "Connect YouTube." FanTokTics uses OAuth 2.0 for security. You'll be prompted to authorize limited access to video data. Once approved, your latest uploads will appear automatically. You can revoke access anytime via your Google Account permissions.
If your content isn't on YouTube or you want early access to edit clips, go to Uploads > New Clip Source. Upload .mp4 files or paste a link to an unlisted YouTube video. The AI will immediately process the file and suggest clips based on motion, speech emphasis, and sentiment peaks.
The dashboard has three main panels: Left panel shows video sources and upload history, Center panel displays AI-generated clip suggestions with preview, Right panel contains scheduling queue, posting history, and analytics preview. Use filters to sort by video, sound, performance, or approval status.
Click on any AI-generated clip to enter the Review Panel. You can trim, replace audio, add captions, or change overlays. All changes autosave. Approve clips for scheduling, or mark them as "Needs Edit" to return them to draft status.
Complete these steps: Connect YouTube or upload first video manually, Choose default post frequency (daily, 3x/week, etc.), Set TikTok account preferences (managed by us or your own), Approve your first AI clips, Turn on Smart Schedule and email reports
Inside the Video tab, use drag-and-drop to prioritize clips. This affects which clips are queued first. You can label clips for organization: "Hook," "Educational," or "Funny."
FanTokTics offers two modes: AI Mode (Fully automated, optimized for speed) and Manual Mode (Use a scrub bar to define in/out points, great for high-context content).
Any clip can be saved as a draft by clicking "Save Draft". You can access it later from the Drafts tab, where you can make further edits or schedule it manually.
Each clip has a Virality Score (1-100) based on: Engagement curve prediction, Audio-visual rhythm matching, Viewer attention retention modeling. Confidence Levels indicate how well the clip matches trends in your category.
Use the "Reel Builder" to select clips across sources. Stitch them into a single montage. Add transitions, branded intro/outro, and preview before export.
Click on "Advanced Audio Settings" in the editor. Filter by: Mood (Energetic, Nostalgic, Dramatic, Calm), BPM (Set a range e.g. 90–110), Energy Level (Low, Medium, High)
Upload a whitelist of sound IDs or music licenses in Settings > Brand Controls. FanTokTics will only pair clips with approved music.
Click "Replace Sound" to open the Sound Picker. Choose from trending alternatives or your saved library. All sound changes re-sync automatically.
In the Review Panel, click "Add Layer > Voiceover." Upload an .mp3 or record in-browser. Use waveform syncing tools to align voiceover with clip beats.
Once you design a clip (fonts, overlays, transitions), click "Save as Template." Use this template across new videos for brand consistency.
Use the Bulk Actions dropdown. Select multiple approved clips and assign them a cadence (e.g. M/W/F at 3pm EST). Smart Schedule will optimize exact post times.
Enable "Trend Priority" in settings. FanTokTics will auto-promote clips that feature trending topics, sounds, or keywords.
In the Calendar View, click any scheduled clip to Pause or Skip. Paused clips move to Drafts; skipped ones are rescheduled automatically.
Set your default timezone in Account Settings. Override per campaign if you manage pages in multiple regions (e.g. US vs UK).
Smart Schedule: AI analyzes peak engagement times. Custom Calendar: You set exact times for each day. Use both together to override on a per-clip basis.
FanTokTics uses machine learning to study your top-performing clips. It adjusts future recommendations based on: Hook style, Audio timing, Viewer retention trends
In your analytics tab, view the Drop-Off Heatmap. It shows second-by-second viewer retention. Use this to refine your editing style and hook timing.
Run A/B tests with different captions or sounds. FanTokTics will track: View rate, Share rate, Completion rate. You'll get a report highlighting winners.
Turn on "Email Summaries" in Notification Settings. Every Monday, receive a breakdown of: Top 3 clips, New followers, Clip vs. sound performance
In Settings > Roles & Permissions, create team or client views. Choose what data they can see: just their clips, campaigns, or full account access.
Go to Settings > Labs and toggle "Join Beta Program." You'll receive access to experimental tools and early rollouts. Feedback is highly encouraged.
Each beta feature includes a "Send Feedback" button directly within the tool. All feedback goes to our product team for weekly review.
Click "Report Issue" on any clip. Tag the problem: wrong mood, timing mismatch, off-brand. We use these reports to retrain models weekly.
In Labs, enable "Caption Sync AI" — this experiment tests voice-tone detection to auto-style captions. You can compare AI vs. manual overlays.
Adaptive Editing lets you accept/reject parts of a clip. The editor will adjust in real time and offer a regenerated version based on your notes.
Enable integrations in Settings > Apps & Automations. You can: Auto-export clips to CapCut for advanced editing, Log uploads in Notion, Trigger workflows using Zapier (e.g., new clip → Slack alert)
From the clip screen, click "Export > Drive or Dropbox". Authorize your account once, then clips will be stored in your preferred folder.
Set up webhooks for events like "New Clip Approved" or "Clip Published." Useful for agency workflows or Slack bots.
We offer ICS calendar feed support and direct integrations with tools like Trello, Asana, and CoSchedule.
Use our UTM builder to embed trackable links. Integrate with HubSpot or Salesforce to log TikTok-driven traffic by clip or campaign.
In "Team Settings," assign roles like Editor, Reviewer, Scheduler, or Admin. Each role has permission controls, visible from the Roles Matrix.
If a source video is deleted, existing clips stay live unless manually removed. FanTokTics flags affected clips and removes access to source metadata.
Visit "Connected Accounts." Click "Revoke Access" to unlink any TikTok or YouTube profile. To reconnect, follow the secure OAuth flow again.
Clips are stored for 12 months after creation. After that, they're archived and downloadable only. You can manually purge clips at any time.
All unpublished clips are private by default. You can toggle visibility between Team Only, Reviewer Access, or Hidden.
Visit our Status & Known Issues page. We post active bugs, severity, temporary workarounds, and estimated resolution timelines every Friday.
Go to Calendar View, click on a scheduled clip, and select "Roll Back." This reverts the post to draft mode and clears it from your schedule.
We prioritize based on severity: Critical (posting failure): 0–4h, Medium (UI bugs): 12–24h, Low (feature requests): 72h. Use "Report Urgent" to mark a ticket for escalation.
Click "Report Issue" and upload: Steps to reproduce, Browser & device info, Screenshot or screen recording. This allows our engineering team to replicate and resolve faster.
Our Status Page shows system-wide uptime, outages, and performance delays. Subscribe to get alerts by email or SMS.
